This project was for the Minnesota Army National Guard. They needed a lighted sign that fit well in an existing opening on a newly leased space. We worked with them to keep the project in their budget and came up with this illuminated cabinet sign. They had a predetermined design and logo that worked well for this type of lighted sign, too.

The cabinet sign ended up being 30″ x 120″ and it turned out amazing. The sign is illuminated with LED lights and has a poly and vinyl face. The black vinyl blocks out light from coming though, the yellow and white vinyl are translucent and allow light to come through and illuminate them.

Lighted Sign Options

Beyond this sign our lighted cabinet signs can come in many shapes and sizes. With irregular shapes and designs. They can be 2- sided and be placed on a post to be viewed from two directions. Single sided illuminated cabinet signs are typically mounted to a building with screws, bolts or another type of ridged anchoring system. Now days with LED lighting sign weight isn’t nearly as much of an issue for the signs.

Lighted signs are great for locations where you need to compete with other companies in a strip mall or area with multiple other buildings. They are also work if you want to have your company name viewable in the dark evening/early morning hours or heck even for 24 hour viewing.

Not all lighted signs are cabinet signs. Some them can be channel letters with illuminated faces or back lit. There are also LED tube lights and some people still like the look of neon signs.
